Because of the downfall of the trusts managed by Compensation Risk Managers, a lot of agents and brokers have become nervous about placing clients in trusts or leaving clients there who are already in one. There are a lot of well-managed, financially sound trusts still operating in New York, but the headlines have put a major scare into the market. I talk about how to work with clients who are in or considering joining a trust.
